The South Precinct Community Police Team (CPT) has been working to address community concerns regarding criminal activity in the area of Rainier Avenue S and S Garden Street.

On October 30th, Department of Corrections (DOC) officers made a request to South Precinct CPT that they arrest a person known to frequent the area. CPT officers responded to the area of Rainier Avenue S and S Garden Street, located the individual and arrested him. In addition to his DOC violations, the adult male suspect possessed crack cocaine. He was booked into King County Jail for both violations.
