Stabbing suspect captured
On November 17 at 12:57 AM, a North Precinct officer contacted a victim of a stabbing at NW 85th street and 9th NW . The officer was able to broadcast a suspect vehicle description and direction of travel. Moments later, officers sighted the vehicle at NW 85th and 15th NW and made a stop of the vehicle. The suspect ultimately admitted to stabbing the victim during a dispute. Witnesses indicated a struggle did occur in the north parking lot of a nearby tavern.
The victim was rushed to Harborview Medical Center by Seattle Fire medics. His injuries are non-life threatening. The suspect and his fiancé were ultimately booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Assault. The Homicide Unit was consulted.
