On January 15 at approximately 6:45 p.m. detectives arrested a wanted sexual assault suspect in the 1500 block of Alaskan Way South. The adult male suspect was wanted in connection with two separate incidents in which the suspect physically and sexually assaulted two female victims. The first incident occurred on June 8, 2008 at about 10:45 p.m. in the 700 block of South Spokane Street. The second incident occurred on June 10, 2008 at about 11:58 p.m. in the 3200 block of 3rd Avenue South. The 51-year-old male suspect was booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Rape. He is expected to be charged today.
