On Monday, February 16th at approximately 1:55 a.m. officers responded to 911 calls of shots fired in the 2600 block of East Cherry Street. Officers arrived on scene and found the victim lying on the sidewalk unresponsive with several gunshot wounds. Officers immediately performed CPR on the victim until SFD Medics arrived. Once on scene, Medics took over emergency treatment however, the victim succumbed to his injuries. The victim is a 26-year-old male from Seattle. The suspect(s) remain at large. Homicide and CSI Detectives responded to process the scene. Homicide Detectives continue to actively investigate.
