On July 26th at approximately 2:17 a.m. officers responded to 911 calls of a disturbance involving a large number of people in the 1200 block of Westlake Avenue North. As officers were enroute SPD Communications received additional 911 calls of shots fired at the same location.
Officers arrived and located three male victims who had sustained gunshot wounds. SFD Medics transported the victims to Harborview Medical Center: two with life-threatening injuries and one with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects were gone upon the officers’ arrival. Two possible suspect vehicles were described as a late-model, dark-colored sedan with tinted windows and the other a red Jeep Cherokee.
Investigation indicates that the shootings occurred in or near the street and also in a neighboring parking lot. Homicide, Gang and CSI Detectives responded to the scene and continue to actively investigate.
