On September 16th at approximately 2:20 p.m. the suspect entered a pharmacy in the 5400 block of California Avenue SW. On September 15th, at approximately 4:30 p.m.,  a South Precinct patrol officer observed a stolen vehicle from an earlier robbery driving southbound on Rainier Avenue South at South Orcas Street.  The officer confirmed that the license plate came back to a stolen vehicle and with the assistance of several other officers stopped the vehicle and arrested [...]

Chief Linda Pierce has accepted a position as Public Safety Director with the Confederated Tribes of Colville Reservation.  Her last day with the Seattle Police Department was Friday, September 11th.
