Home Invasion Robbery in South Seattle

On November 18th at approximately 1:36 p.m. officers responded to a 911 call of a home invasion robbery in the 5300 block of South Creston Street. The teenage male victim and his mother (victim #2) were at home when a male suspect knocked on the front door of their home. The teen saw another male suspect hiding in the bushes with a bandana over his face. The male victim locked the front door but the suspects kicked the door open and entered the home. One of the suspects punched the mother in the face, and the other grabbed a large flat screen TV. Both suspects then fled the scene. Responding officers arrived quickly and contacted several possible suspects in the area; none were positively identified and thus were released. The suspects remain at large.

The mother was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries to her face. Robbery detectives responded to the scene and continue to actively investigate.
