On 11/23/09, at approximately 12:00 a.m., the victim called 911 from his home to report that earlier in the evening he had been waiting at the bus stop in the 1300 block of 1st av. using his iPhone.
A bus stopped and group of male juveniles got off the bus and loitered near the bus stop. Moments later the group surrounded the victim and one of the suspects snatched the iPhone from the victim’s hand and ran away.
The remaining group told the victim he could get his phone back for $100. The victim declined the offer and left the area. The victim then went home and called 911 to report the incident.
The suspects are described as a young black males.
