On 6/13/10, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded to the 4600 block of S. Fontanelle St. to catch a burglar who had just been chased by the homeowner/victim. The homeowner chased and struck the suspect with a stool before losing contact with him.
According to the victim, the suspect had come into the home through a side window, packed up some clothing, and then ran out a side door when confronted. A K9 unit started a track and contacted a matching suspect in the 4400 block of S. Webster St. The victim responded to the scene and identified the suspect. The stolen property was recovered by the K9 unit during the track. The suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary. The suspect has a history of burglary.
