On July 11th at approximately 3:17 a.m. officers responded with SFD to a 911 complaint of smoke coming from the alley of the 600 block of 1st Avenue West. Preliminary investigation indicates that an unknown suspect set fire to a mattress and dumpster outside the back door of an apartment complex located in the 600 block of 1st Avenue West. The fire caused damage to three dumpsters and the railing of the apartment complex. Arson detectives responded to the scene and continue to actively investigate.
