On January 1st at approximately 1:43 AM, witnesses reported to police that a pedestrian was attempting to cross the crosswalk at South Holgate and Airport Way South. As she was crossing the street, the suspect vehicle was travelling southbound on Airport Way South and struck her, then fled the scene.
The Seattle Fire Department responded and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center for her injuries. TCIS detectives also responded to the scene and began their investigation.
The suspect vehicle is still at large. This remains an active and on-going investigation.
