Shots fired at house in South Seattle

On 01-27-2011, at approximately 8:58 p.m., residents in the 6300 block of South Bangor Street called 911 to report multiple shots fired into their residence.

One subject inside was reported to have been shot. When Officers arrived, they found the wounded male had a small wound to the back of his head. When paramedics arrived, they only found a small cut, possibly caused by glass shards from the bullets striking the victims’ window.

One of the occupants inside observed three black males outside the residence, putting bandanas over their faces prior to the shooting. Other witnesses/neighbors reported seeing a beige or tan older model Buick 4dr leaving east on South Bangor Street following the shots.

Officers recovered numerous shell casings in the street directly in front of the victims’ residence. Officers also recovered a spent round that was inside a sofa cushion below the window where most of the shots were fired into.

The Gang Unit coordinated with Officers on scene. This is an active investigation.
