Detective arrests intoxicated auto thief and recovers a stolen car on his way to police headquarters
On May 31st at approximately 11:37 a.m. an SPD detective on his way to police headquarters downtown observed a blue 2010 Volkswagen Golf traveling southbound on 2nd Avenue near James Street. SPD participates in 2011 Law Enforcement Torch Run
The 2011 Law Enforcement Torch Run will be coming through Seattle on Friday, June 3rd. Seattle Police will receive the torch from Shoreline Police at 9:00 A.M. at Aurora Avenue North and North 145th Street. Two fatal overdoses
