Standoff on Delridge resolved

The situation on Delridge was resolved shortly after 9:00 AM when the suspect turned himself in to the Southwest Precinct.  He was taken into custody without incident.  There were two additional people inside the residence on Delridge who finally came out after the suspect had turned himself in.  Police are now interviewing everyone involved.

Suspicious item determined to be harmless

On July 14th at approximately 1:57 p.m. officers responded to a 911 report of a suspicious item located in front of a building in the 800 block of NW 95th Street.  Officers secured the area and Arson/Bomb Squad (ABS) detectives responded to the scene.  ABS detectives examined the item and determined that it was harmless.
