Man arrested after discharging pepper spray in park

UPDATE: Device near railroad tracks was harmless
On August 18th shortly after 9:00 a.m. officers and medics responded to a locomotive/pedestrian fatality collision in Carkeek Park. What was believed to be a small explosive device was found lying near the body. This item has now been thoroughly examined by Seattle Police Arson-Bomb Squad detectives and determined to be harmless.
