On September 20th at approximately 4:54 p.m. officers responded to reports of a fight disturbance involving a knife in the 100 block of 10th Avenue South. Shortly after the arrival of responding officers the suspect dropped the knife he was brandishing and was taken into custody. The victim was bleeding and appeared to have been cut and/or stabbed.
SFD medics responded to the scene and transported the 56-year-old male victim to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The 46-year-old male suspect was booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Assault.
