Two Seattle Police Detectives Receive Excellence Award

On October 11th from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. an awards ceremony was held at the King County Administration Building to honor two Seattle Police Department Domestic Violence Unit detectives. 

The ceremony, titled “Taking the Lead to End Domestic Violence”, honored Detectives Elizabeth Ellis and Nadia Fiorini for their outstanding service, especially in regards to their follow up investigations, their case preparation, and their tireless work with crime victims.

Detective Ellis received her Excellence Award from the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and Detective Fiorini received her Excellence Award from the Seattle City Attorney’s Office.

Mayor Mike McGinn, Police Chief John Diaz, King County Executive Dow Constantine, King County Prosecuting Attorney Dan Satterberg, Seattle City Attorney Peter Holmes, and many others were present.
