On 3/9/12, at approximately 7:45 p.m., officers responded to the 4800 block of 12 Av S to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim, a 19-year-old man who had a gunshot would to the left buttock. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
At the time of this posting, it is unclear as to what precipitated the shooting. The victim provided varying degrees of the suspects’ description. Officers recovered evidence at the scene to include shell casings and narcotics. The victim likely knew the suspects.
The Gang Unit responded and interviewed the victim and witnesses.
