On March 16th at approximately 1:08 p.m. officers responded to a bank robbery in the 900 block of 3rd Avenue. The adult male suspect entered the bank, approached a teller and implied he had a weapon. He left the bank on foot with a bag of money. Nobody was injured during the robbery.
Responding officers located the suspect on the waterfront and took him into custody without further incident. The 52-year-old male suspect was transported to the Robbery Office to be interviewed by detectives.
Upon completion of the interview the suspect will be booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.
This remains an active and on-going bank robbery investigation.
