On March 18th at approximately 2:21 a.m. an adult male suspect who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs entered a grocery store in the 1400 block of Broadway. The suspect approached a snack aisle and began opening packages of food and eating them.
When confronted by store security, he fought with them. It took several employees to restrain the suspect until officers arrived on scene and placed him under arrest.
The suspect was booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.
