Shooting at a Bar in Northgate

On March 25th at approximately 11:37 p.m. officers responded to a bar in the 500 block of NE Northgate Way for the report of a shooting with at least one victim.  Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim inside the establishment who had sustained a gunshot wound to the side of his torso.  It is unknown what precipitated the shooting.  The suspect was gone upon the officers’ arrival and remains at large.

SFD medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation indicates that following the shooting the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.  The suspect vehicle is described as possibly a silver or white Chysler 300 4-door sedan with large rims and low-profile tires with multiple subjects on board.  The car fled in an unknown direction and remains at large.

The only suspect description available at this time is a black male in his 20’s wearing red clothing.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call 911 or the Seattle Police and refer to this incident.  Anonymous tips are welcome.

This remains an active and on-going investigation.
