On 4-2-12, at approximately 8:20 a.m., the 14-year-old victim was walking to school. As she walked northbound onto 42nd Av S. from S. Graham St she observed a maroon van pass her headed southbound. The victim then heard the vehicle turn around and a male ask if he could ask her a question. The suspect then made several comments of a sexual nature to the victim.
The victim ran to school and kept yelling “no”. Once at the school, the victim called her mother and her mother called for a police response.
The suspect is described as an East African male in his early 20s, with a thick beard.
The vehicle is described as a maroon mini-van (possibly Dodge) with a black bumper and 235 in the beginning of the plate.
An area check was made for the vehicle but nothing was located.
