On May 12th, at approximately 5:15 pm, South Precinct officers responded to a call of a man shot in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 9100 Block of Rainier Avenue South. The call initially came in as two men physically fighting, and then it was reported that the victim had been shot several times in his legs. Officers arrived and located a male in his twenties, with gunshot wounds to his lower legs. Seattle Fire Department responded and transported the victim to Haborview Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries. The suspect(s) fled in unknown directions. Officers are currently investigating this shooting. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
