On May 19, 2012 at approximately 8:45 a.m. officers were called to a death on arrival (DOA) in the south side yard of a house in the 5500 block of 15thAve NE. The 19-year-old male victim was found deceased against the south wall of the house (there was a balcony/staircase 20 plus feet directly above where the victim was found).
There are no indications of foul play at this time.
Patrol canvassed the area but could not find anyone who saw or heard anything. Detectives responded and processed the scene.
The King County Medical Examiner responded to the scene and took custody of the body. A toxicology report and autopsy are pending.
