Sexual Assault Unit detectives are investigating an early-morning attack on a woman near the University of Washington campus.
The woman told police she was walking north on 16th Avenue and NE 52nd Street around 2 am this morning, when a man passed her on the sidewalk. The man then grabbed the woman, threw her to the ground, and sexually assaulted her.
The woman described the suspect as a white male, 6’3, 21-22 years old with short dark hair and stubble, wearing a purple Washington hoodie and blue jeans.
