Home Invasion Robbery & Assault in North Seattle

Two men were robbed and one of them was assaulted tonight during a home invasion robbery of an apartment. At approximately 10:36 p.m. officers responded to a 911 call of a home invasion robbery at an apartment complex in the 11500 block of 26 Avenue NE.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspects knocked on the door of the victim’s apartment. The victim answered the door thinking it was someone he knew. When he did, the two unknown male suspects barged in. One suspect struck victim #1 on the head with a blunt, unidentified object (victim #2 was not injured). The suspects proceeded to steal both victims’ wallets, a cell phone and at least one jar of marijuana. The suspects then fled the scene and remain at large.

Suspect #1 is described as a light-skinned black male in his 20’s wearing a red bandanna, dark hoodie and jeans. Suspect #2 is described as a darker-skinned black male in his 20’s wearing a dark hoodie and jeans.

SFD medics responded to the scene where they treated and released victim #1 for his non-life-threatening injury, a laceration to the back of the head.

Robbery detectives are responding to the scene to assume control over the active and on-going investigation.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identity or whereabouts of the suspects is asked to call 911 or the Seattle Police Robbery Unit at (206) 684-5535. Anonymous tips are welcome.
