West Precinct night bike officers arrested a man they suspected of selling crack cocaine last night. Shortly after 10:00 pm, officers were in the 1500 Block of 2nd Avenue when they observed a man making several contacts with individuals on the street. The officers watched as the man handed something small to the person, consistent with narcotics transactions. The officers arrested the 22 year old man without incident. During a search, officers recovered over $500 cash and 2 grams of crack cocaine from the suspect. The suspected drugs tested positive for cocaine. Both the drugs and cash were submitted into evidence, and the suspect was booked into the King County Jail.
