Officers arrest man for selling drugs in Pike/Pine corridor

An 18 year old male was arrested last night after officers observed him making drug deals in one of the West Precinct’s “hot spots.” Last night, shortly after 9:00 pm, West Precinct bike officers were conducting narcotics surveillance near 2nd Avenue and Pine Street.  During the course of this surveillance, they saw an individual make two separate drug transactions of what appeared to be crack cocaine.

The officers arrested the man and recovered several baggies of suspected narcotics from him.  The drugs were field tested and tested positive for cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana.  The suspect was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of VUCSA-Delivery.
