Two Men Shot in North Seattle Disturbance

Shots fired in North Seattle disturbance claim two victims.  On Saturday, October 13th at approximately 10:24 p.m officers responded to shots fired in the 11700 block of 26th Avenue NE.  Preliminary investigation indicates that most of the participants involved in the incident fled prior to the arrival of officers.  One adult male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg was located by officers beside a house.  Fire department medics transported that subject to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

While officers were on scene investigating another male victim showed up at a North Seattle hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.  That injury is reportedly non-life-threatening as well.  It has now been determined that the second victim is related to the disturbance in the 11700 block of 26th Avenue NE.

It is unknown at this time what transpired leading up to the shootings.  No suspect descriptions have been provided to the investigating officers.

Patrol officers and Gang Unit detectives continue to actively investigate.
