A Seattle man struck a half dozen cars during a 10 block driving spree. Just shortly before 1:00 p.m. today multiple victims and witnesses called 9-1-1 to report a green Subaru driving recklessly N/B on Lakeview Av E. from Roy St. The callers all reported that the Subaru had struck 9 unoccupied vehicles in the area.
As a result of the collision, the green Subaru sustained a flat tire which forced the vehicle to stop near 1605 Broadway Av E. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the driver, a 27-year-old Seattle man. He was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was transported to the East Precinct where he was processed for DUI. The man will be booked into King County Jail for Hit & Run- DUI, and Property Damage.
Hours later officers were still attempting to identify all victims along the path of destruction left by the suspect.
