South Seattle robber being sought

Chevron Station robbed at gun point. This morning just shortly after midnight the clerk from the Chevron Station at 6600 MLK Jr Wy S called 9-1-1 to report that his store had been robbed by a male with a gun. Officers arrived, set up containment, and a K9 track was started.

The clerk told officers that he was cleaning the food warmers when the suspect came into the store, pointed a black handgun at him and demanded he open up the cash register.  When the clerk did so the suspect reached across the counter, grabbed bills from the till and fled from the store.

The K9 track was unsuccessful.  Officers contacted the family of possible suspect(s) that live nearby, but that was also unsuccessful.

Suspect information:  Black male, early 20s, 504, thin build, wearing a black hat, something wrapped around his neck, a black jacket and pants.
