Bank Robbery Downtown

A bank robber remains at large after hitting a downtown Key Bank this morning.  At approximately 10:32 a.m. a male suspect entered the Key Bank at 2500 First Avenue and jumped the counter after telling everyone to get down.  Although the suspect did not display a weapon, witnesses said it appeared that something was in the suspect’s hand.  The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and jumped back over the counter and quickly left the bank fleeing northbound.

Responding officers conducted an extensive area search however, the suspect remains at large. 

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male in his 30’s, 5’6″ tall, 160 pounds, wearing a black zip-up style hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a dark face mask.  The face mask may have been a half balaclava or a turtleneck pulled up.
