A house sitter woke up this morning to find an intruder inside the home. Police arrived quickly after receiving the 911 call and located the suspect inside the house, where he was promptly arrested.
Shortly after 8:00 am, a 26-year-old woman woke up and discovered a strange man inside the house she was watching in the 11800 Block of Stendall Place North. She was able to flee to another room where she sent her boyfriend a text message telling him about the situation. The boyfriend then called 911. Officers responded and discovered there had been forced entry to the rear of the house. Officers could see the suspect inside the house and ordered him to come outside, where he was promptly arrested. The 55-year-old suspect was later booked into the King County Jail for Burglary.
