Earlier this morning Seattle Police and Seattle Fire responded to a report of a train/pedestrian collision at Alaskan Way West and West Lee Street.
The adult male pedestrian was treated at the scene by Seattle Fire Department Medics and transported to Harborview Medical Center. Unfortunately, the victim died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.
Detectives from the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad (TCIS) responded to the location and processed the scene. This remains an active and on-going TCIS investigation.
