Officers arrested two muggers in downtown Seattle Tuesday morning after they punched a man, stole his liquor and forced him to pull down his pants.
Just before 2am Tuesday morning, the 22-year-old victim was waiting for a bus at 3rd Avenue and Pine Street when a group of five men surrounded the victim and said he “owed” them.
The suspects then reached into the victim’s coat and took a bottle of vodka, grabbed the victim’s Angry Birds hat off his head, and punched him in the face.
The suspects then then told the victim to pull down his pants, which he did.
One of the suspects then began encouraging people on the street to take pictures of the victim, who quickly pulled up his pants and ran off. The victim was able to borrow a cellphone and called 911.
Officers found two suspects at 2nd and Pike, One was wearing the very distinctive red and black Angry Bird hat.
Officers arrested the two suspects and booked them into the King County Jail for robbery. Game over.
The victim never did elaborate on why the suspects believed he “owed” them.
