Two Suspects in Custody After Home-Invasion-Style Robbery

*This information is preliminary and subject to change*

Two men are in custody after the report of a robbery inside a building in South Seattle.  At approximately 12:37 a.m. officers responded to the 8300 block of Dallas Avenue South for the report of a home-invasion-style robbery of a building believed to contain marijuana (it is unknown at this time what the status of the facility is).  An adult male victim was inside the facility (a commercial-style building) talking on the phone when an unknown number of suspects entered the building and allegedly robbed the victim.

As officers arrived on scene two male suspects were exiting the building.  Both suspects were taken into custody and are currently being interviewed.

Once officers were on scene the victim ran outside to the safety of the officers.  Fire department medics responded and treated the victim for non-life-threatening injuries he sustained during the incident.  Officers are currently interviewing the victim.

Officers surrounded the building shortly after arrival and believe there may be additional suspect(s) still inside.  SWAT officers and negotiators are enroute to assist the patrol officers already on scene.

There are no additional details available at this time.

We will post more information when it becomes available.

This remains an active incident.
