Detectives are investigating a sexual assault in a downtown alleyway after a woman told police a man approached her and said he wanted to be her “pimp” before sexually assaulting her.
The woman said the attack happened around 9:45 last night in an alley near 1st Avenue and Stewart Street.
After sexually assaulting the woman, the suspect—described as a black male, between 35 and 40 years old, wearing a dirty white t-shirt, black jacket and blue jeans—fled and the woman called 911.
After police arrived, the woman discovered the suspect had also stolen her wallet.
