The complainant called to report that a male was staggering in the street in the 6300 block of Airport WY S. On 6/13/13, just shortly after 6:00 a.m. ,officers arrived and saw the victim in the street bleeding from the left side of his body.
The victim appeared to be intoxicated or high on some type of unknown substance. The victim wasn’t able to give his name, or tell the officers what occurred.
Seattle Fire Dept stated that the victim was stabbed with some type of sharp object on the left side of his body. Initially, the victim’s injuries were possibly life threatening. Officers secured the scene and checked the area for any suspects, evidence, or a crime scene.
Officers were unable to determine where the incident occurred. Officers responded to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) to attempt to get additional information about the incident. Officers were informed by HMC staff that the victim was in stable condition, and his injuries are not life threatening.
Officers were unable to collect any additional information from the victim. Officers conducted an extensive area search, but no additional evidence or suspects were located.
The victim is a black male in his 20’s.
