A 20-year-old man was arrested on two Felony Firearm warrants. On 10/16/13, just shortly before 11:00 p.m., Gang Unit detectives contacted downtown bike officers regarding a wanted suspect in the area.
Detectives advised the officers that the suspect was wanted on two felony VUFA (Violation of the Uniform Firearms Act) warrants and was last seen in the area of 4/Pike St. They provided the officers with a booking photo of the suspect and requested that they conduct an area search for him.
A short time later the officers located the suspect and a foot chase ensued. Officers caught the suspect and he was arrested. While taking the suspect into custody, a handgun was recovered from his person. The 20-yr-old suspect was booked into King County Jail for the outstanding felony warrants and Investigation of VUFA.
