Man Strangled and robbed in Belltown

Man’s cellphone taken in Belltown robbery. On 10/20/13, just shortly after 2:00 a.m., the victim was exiting his car in the area of 2nd Ave & Bell St, when he was approached by a group of 5 subjects (2 Females & 3 Males.)

One of the males asked the victim for $5. The victim told the suspect that he had no money and got back into his car.  The male then reached into the car through an open window and grabbed the victim by the collar, strangling him.

Another male then opened the passenger door, reached in and began going through the man’s pockets, eventually taking the victim’s phone.

The suspects then reprotedly fled on foot W/B on Bell St.

The suspect’s are described as two black males late teens to early 20′s.
