Woman robbed of cellphone in South Seattle

A suspect pushed a woman to the ground and stole her cellphone in South Seattle. This morning just shortly before 10:00 a.m., the victim was walking eastbound in the 5000 block of S Henderson St towards Rainier Av S while talking on her cellular phone. The suspect ran up to the victim and pushed her to the ground using both of his hands.

As the victim fell to the ground the suspect grabbed her phone and ran west on S Henderson and then south on 50th Av S. Officers arrived and searched for the suspect but he was not located.

The victim suffered an injury to her foot but declined medical treatment.

The suspect is described as a black male, 18-20 years old, 150-160 pounds wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans.
