A mysterious burglar made off with a post-midnight snack, and nothing else, after creeping through the unlocked door of a Ravenna home early Thursday morning.
Just before 1 AM, a group of roommates were in their respective beds when they heard someone walk through the front door of their home in the 5800 block of Roosevelt Way NE.
Then they heard someone rifling through their refrigerator.
The three roommates all walked out into their living room and realized their front door was standing wide open. The roommates walked to their front window and then watched as the suspect stood in their front yard, wolfing down leftover chicken pilfered from their fridge.
The suspect—described as a white male in a gray hoodie—walked off down Roosevelt Way and the roommates called police.
Officers arrived at the scene, but the suspect had flown the coop.
The roommates told police the leftover chicken was the only thing missing from their home following the incident.
