Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding a woman found dead in a North Seattle motel room. On December 4th at approximately 5:35 p.m. officers responded to the report of a dead body found in a room at the Seal’s Motel located in the 12000 block of Aurora Avenue North. Preliminary investigation indicates that the deceased is a woman who is believed to be 34-years-old. Out of an abundance of caution, Homicide and CSI detectives responded to help process the scene and investigate further. Because the cause of death has not yet been determined, detectives consider the death suspicious.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office took custody of the body and will have responsibility for identifying the deceased and determining the cause of death.
