Two Men Wounded In Shooting at Kubota Gardens

A double shooting in a South Seattle park left two men with non-life threatening injuries early Tuesday morning. On 12-31-13, shortly before 1:00 a.m., two victims where dropped off at Harborview Medical Center. Victim #1 sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and the abdomen. Victim #2 sustained a gunshot wound to the arm. Both victims were taken into surgery with non-life threatening injuries.

One of the victim’s girlfriends stated that they were parked at Kubota Gardens (9800 55 Av S) when the suspect vehicle drove into the park.  Two black males got out of the their car and took her purse from her vehicle.

One of the suspect’s then shot both of the victims who were seated in one car. The suspects then fired shots at the second vehicle before fleeing the park. Officers responded to Kubota Gardens but did not locate any casings, vehicles or other evidence. The female victim refused to give a statement.

The suspects are described as two black males.
