One person shot, another run over by a car and 3 others assaulted

Five people were injured in an early morning melee and shooting at a local motorcycle club.  On 1/1/14, just shortly after 5:00 a.m., a large physical fight started in front of the Magic Wheels Motorcycle Club on Airport Wy S & S. Doris St.  During the fight, female victim 1 was punched in the face by a male suspect .  After the suspect punched the victim , she fell back onto the concrete ground.

A male (victim’s husband) confronted the suspect about punching the victim.  The suspect (victim’s husband) then pulled out a handgun, and pointed it directly at the male victim and fired multiple shots. At the same time, another unknown suspect brandish a handgun at the victims.

The melee continued and multiple people were assaulted.  One of the male victims (shooting victim) left the scene in a Nissan Armada. While fleeing the scene, he ran over a female who was involved in the melee. The shooting victim was located at a gas station in the 6200 block of Corson Ave. S, he had a gunshot wound to his sternum.

The shooting suspect left the scene in a Cadillac and transported his wife (victim who was punched) to HMC for injuries to her leg.

While at HMC, the victim positively identified the suspect who arrived in the cadillac as the person who shot him. East PCT officers arrested the suspect without incident. The 30-yr-old suspect was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Assault.

The Cadillac and the Nissan were transported to the SPD processing room. Shell casings and multiple items were recovered from the crime scene and placed into evidence.

There were 5 victims who were being treated at Harborview Medical Center for varying degrees of injuries; none of which were considered to be life threatening.

Female victim 1 – Loss of consciousness and a laceration to the back of the head (Woman who was punched)

Male victim 2-     Gunshot wound to the upper torso/chest (male in Armada)

Male victim 3-     Broken leg and injuries to his head and face (unknown how this victim was injured)

Female victim 4-  Abrasion and tire mark to her leg  (from being run over by victim 2)

Female victim 5-  Separated shoulder and bloody nose (unknown how this victim was injured)
