A vehicle collision at 15 Ave West and West Boston Street sent an Seattle Police officer to the hospital with minor injuries just after 6 pm.
According to the initial investigation, the involved officer was driving north on 15 Ave West approaching West Boston Street when an oncoming car made a left turn in front of the officer resulting in the collision.
As a precautionary measure the officer was transported to Harborview Medical Center with minor injuries and was released a short time later. Thankfully the other driver was uninjured in the collision.
