50 Grand of Pot Stolen From Hole in the Wall

Detectives are investigating how thieves were able to get away with 50 thousand dollars of marijuana from a Georgetown dispensary Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to a burglary in the 5000 block of East Marginal Way South at 6:50 a.m. this morning. When they arrived they discovered a large hole cut into the side of the business and found marijuana strewn about.

The business owner told officers that thieves had taken $50,000 of medical marijuana from the facility.

A Seattle Police Evidence Technician was able to recover fingerprints and other evidence from the scene as well as video from surveillance cameras in the area.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to please call 911 and speak with officers.
