Workers at a Northgate Mall jewelry store had a “bad feeling” about a man who kept coming into their store to look at rings earlier this month. Their gut instincts proved right when he grabbed a ring worth $1,450 and ran.
Jewelry store staff said the suspect came into their shop three times within an hour and on the last visit, around 8:30 p.m., asked a worker to pull out a ring so he could take pictures. Instead, he grabbed the ring from her hands and ran out the door.
The store had cameras that captured these images of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call SPD’s Robbery Unit at (206) 684-5535.
