Officers arrested a drug dealer downtown last night and confiscated his stolen gun.
Bike officers approached a man selling narcotics in the 1500 block of 2nd Avenue about 10:30 p.m. The man dropped his jacket when he saw them coming and ran off. The officers picked up the jacket, then chased and caught the 23-year-old.
They found 2.1 grams of crack cocaine and a stolen .22 caliber pistol in his jacket and booked the man into King County jail for possessing a stolen firearm, obstructing a public officer and narcotics charges.
