Detectives want help finding Calvin E. Beaver, a 55-year-old Seattle man suspected of breaking into a Columbia City theater and stealing more than $1,500 in cash last week.
Police were called to a burglary in the 4900 block of Rainier Ave South about 11 PM on September 21st. The suspect is believed to have entered the back of the theater. When confronted by an employee, he fled to a car waiting outside.
Witnesses wrote down the license plate number of the getaway car and gave it to police, who were able to track down the vehicle. That later led them to Beaver as the suspect.
